"I have no confidence that being told it will be done has anything to do with seeing that it does get done.” This statement by Metro board member and former chairman Mortimer Downey speaks volumes about the current state of Metro--pathetic.

I am a Christian
I am a Christian. Some think that we are fools. There are an estimated 2.2 billion Christians worldwide--that makes for a lot of fools.
"We are fools on Christ’s account, but you are wise in Christ; we are weak, but you are strong; you are held in honor, but we in disrepute. To this very hour we go hungry and thirsty, we are poorly clad and roughly treated, we wander about homeless and we toil, working with our own hands. When ridiculed, we bless; when persecuted, we endure; when slandered, we respond gently. We have become like the world’s rubbish, the scum of all, to this very moment." 1 Corinthians 4:10-13

Navy SEAL Medal of Honor recipient wants to go back to war. Why that's a rarity. | Local Military | pilotonline.com
The Medal of Honor citation for Navy Senior Chief Edward Byers begins: "For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty ..." Chief Byers wants to return to combat. He says: "This honor carries with it some obligations that I need to carry out...I plan to continue doing my job as normal and to continue being a SEAL." Thank you, Edward Byers, for your incredible service for your comrades, for us and for our country.

WWJD?
An evasive Vatican must face clerical sex abuse directly - San Francisco Chronicle
What Would Jesus Do?
Jesus wouldn't have protected those higher-ups who knew, or should have known, of the outrageous crimes committed against children by allowing them to hide cowardly within the walls of His church's headquarters in a sovereign foreign country.
Jesus didn't run from evil; He confronted it head on. So should His church.
Send Law and Pell back to the scene of the outrageous crimes to face the consequences--even if it's only to face their "flocks" in the places where the outrageous crimes were committed and covered up while they were in charge.
Jesus had no use for hypocrisy or cowardice.
