The same works for government. When government leans too far to the left or to the right, it needs to be straightened.

Elections are about straightening leaning government. When government changes from Democratic party control to Republican party control, then the left-leaning government gets straightened. The opposite is true when a Republican controlled government loses an election.

After being in the public eye for most of her adult life, after her many years as first lady for Arkansas and the US, senator from NY, secretary of state, a LONG primary and election campaign, do liberals REALLY believe that voters didn't know who they were voting (or not voting) for? Of course, they did! Do liberals really believe that "fake news" affected the outcome of the election? Of course, it didn't!
