I wondered: "Why is the acronym for the Division of Motor Vehicles being displayed at Nationals Park, home of the Washington Nationals baseball team?"

Thanks to the internet, I find that the acronym that I've exclusively associated for more than 50 years with the Division of Motor Vehicles has more than one meaning.

C'mon, Nationals!! Don't you know that people associate "DMV" with loser, never changes, futility, failure, last place (the Div. of Motor Vehicles is the last place that I want to go), etc.???
