what's the point in passing laws if they're not enforced?

in school we learned that our government has three branches:

our constitution clearly defines responsibilities:
   - the legislative branch passes laws
   - the executive branch enforces laws
   - the judicial branch adjudicates laws

but, the president and congress don't do their jobs if:
   - the president is more interested in picking fights with his many
opponents (other party, his party, his staff, media, etc.) than in
     enforcing laws,
Chicago to Sue US Over Funding Threats Against 'Sanctuary Cities'
   - and congress fights among themselves, and with the president,
instead of repealing old laws and/or passing new ones.

our two party system of government is broken.
it's time for change.

who do you trust?
   - someone who you know respects our laws?
The good, the bad & the ugly: let's make America great again
   - someone who doesn't?
   - or political parties, financed by billionaire corporations and
PACs, that don't respect our laws

Here's how government is controlled in the US:

If you vote for a republican or a democrat, then it's not the person that you voted for who is in control--it's the party.

In the next election--national, state or local--vote for anyone except a democrat or a republican.
Soon the republican and democratic parties will die.
Nothing will be better for our country.
