that's what's wrong with talking heads--they can't think outside the box.
the second amendment would be repealed in the next congress if there weren't any republicans or democrats in congress.
The problem isn't gun control. the american people, including responsible american gun owners, want to keep guns out of the hands of people like nikolas cruz, stephen paddock, omar mateen, and other criminals. the problem isn't gun ownership--it's the unalienable right to own a gun, including an automatic assault rifle. do americans believe that citizens should have an unalienable right to own a mortar or M60 machine gun, nerve gas or material to make a nuclear bomb? of course not!

The problem is the republican and democratic parties.
The republican and democratic parties have become the great excuse to not think outside the box. Mindless voters are dangerous voters.
supreme court justice john paul stevens was appointed by President Gerald Ford. he was considered a "conservative"; but, he often joined with the "liberals" in his supreme court decisions. Be like justice stevens--don't allow political branding, e.g. republican, democrat, conservative, liberal, make you a member of the mindless majority. join the minority--think! maybe some day the thinking minority will become the independent-minded thinking majority. nothing could be better for the USA.
